Designer Workshop Experience

You're invited into lara b. designs studio for an intimate design experience to make your own leather handbag with Lara, the founder and designer of lara b. designs!
"To fulfill my creative spirit and passion for leather handbags and fashion, I started lara b. designs in Los Angeles after design school. Spending years designing and selling to retail boutiques nationwide, life brought me back to the east coast where I decided to do my own cutting and sewing in addition to design. After purchasing an industrial sewing machine, I was on my way ~ everything handcrafted by me ~ continuing to grow lara b. while developing new skills and styles." ~ Lara

You'll spend the afternoon with Lara, learning designer secrets while you make your handbag in buttery soft, lightweight leather.

What You'll Do:
• Select your handbag style and leather
• Review leather for any imperfections, scars, holes, etc
• Decide where you'd like your small personal momento placed in your bag(optional)
• Place and arrange your pattern pieces on your leather
• Use your leather pen to trace the pattern pieces
• Carefully cut out your pattern pieces
• If needed, glue pattern pieces prior to sewing
• Sew handbag (I'll help you! ;)
• Finishing work(i.e. add strap, zipper pull, fringe, etc)
• Have Fun!
• Congratulations, your handbag is now ready to show off!
• I will be there to help you in all phases and guide you through the process!
